Reading

I used to read all the time when I was a kid.  As I grew older it seemed like I had less time for reading and the habit dwindled away.  Recently my wife has gotten me back into reading and we even read books together out loud.  We are currently reading the fourth book of the five book series, "Fablehaven" by Brandon Mull.  When I first started I found the the first book interesting.  Now I'm hooked!  Brandon Mull does a great job developing the story and characters.  He even gets better at writing with each new book.  These books are great for both kids and adults.  The first book may seem a little slow to start out but it serves as a good introduction to the series and  the series as a whole is amazing! At least as far as I have read.  It just keeps getting better!  Great fantasies relate-able to Harry Potter.

The First Post

This is the first post of my first blog. Pretty cool, huh? I guess I'll take this opportunity to welcome you to my blog and welcome myself to the blogging world.

I chose the title, "Good Life" for my blog because my life is good. Actually it's amazing. I recently got married and my wife and I love our life! We even love that we're dirt poor and live in a tiny apartment. We enjoy the simple things in life and are trying to make the best of whatever comes our way.
